From Britian With Love:
World War II Pilgrim Brides Sail to America.

The soft cover book, 240 pages, is a documented background of the war years in Britian followed by personal war bride stories (twenty-two of them, nine of which have SHAEF connections) and many photos. Lynn Sherr of ABC's 20/20 wrote in the forward:. . .this account of the war brides is a valuable addition to our heritage." Bill Lahman, editor of the SHAEF veterans Communique, said, "It's recommended reading."
