Registered guests driving to the reunion or renting a car have complimentary parking on site.

Country Club Plaza one of the city's premier shopping districts as well as the historic Westport District and the Nelson-Atkins Art Museum. Among amenities offered are the complimentary Manager's Reception daily and the complimentary cooked to order breakfasts.

As customary, there will be an Orderly Room or hospitality site where there will be soft drinks, munchies and a forum to swap war stories. Name badges, tickets and information will be dispensed as well.

The schedule for events is still in the planning stage but is expected to include an opening reception, possible optional trips to the Eisenhower Center, Abilene, KS as well as to the Truman Presidental Library which is a short ride from the reunion hotel, in Independence, MO, and the close by WW I Liberty Memorial in Kansas City. A farewell dinner or banquet will conclude the schedule.

Reunion reservation forms will be sent to Sec. Treas. Jackie Voelkl accompanied by a non-refundable fee of $20. She will then send you the customary invoice/transmittal form on which you will select the reunion events in which you will participate. Payment for the total cost must be made by October 01.

Cost for the cab is approximately $50 one way from Kansas City International Airport. Shuttle service to and from the airport is provided by the Super Shuttle at the current price of $18 per person one way. Distance to the airport is 31 miles or about 25 minutes. Parking is complimentary for hotel guests.

Reservations must be made no later than 14 days prior to arrival date to ensure our group rates. The group rate is offered two days prior and two days after reunion dates.
